What is WIC:

WIC is a nutrition program which provides Spokane families with nutrition and breastfeeding education along with healthy foods such as fresh fruits and vegetables, milk and whole grains. WIC helps families develop a lifetime of healthy habits. Eligibility is determined by income, medical guidelines and nutritional assessment.

WIC offers:

  • Free nutrition and breastfeeding education
  • Free access to healthy foods
  • Help finding health care and other social services
  • Access to licensed, registered dietitians
